We were thrilled to be the Presenting Sponsors for this year’s Leon County Relay for Life! This amazing event is a fundraiser walk that brings together members of our community for an important cause: to fight back against cancer, raising funds for the American Cancer Society advancing research for a cure and support for those facing cancer in their lives. In addition, our community celebrated those who have survived their journeys with cancer, honored the memory of loved ones, as well as acknowledged and thanked the strong caregivers involved in the lives of all those affected by cancer.
Over the course of the fundraising season as well as the event itself on May 4th, Leon County’s Relay for Life 2024 was able to raise over $101,841.66! We are happy to have played a part in such an important cause. Because of the efforts of our community, more people facing cancer can have access to a place to stay when traveling to their appointments for treatment, free rides to appointments, and more support through the American Cancer Society 24/7 helpline.
